Metanoia is a long-term photographic project developed through three self-imposed isolations between 2016 and 2026: Hotel Slavija in Belgrade, Hotel Sopoćani and Sutomore.
The project began as a need to question inherited beliefs, personal memory and the stability of perception. Through large-scale landscapes, spatial diptychs, diary photographs and textual fragments, Metanoia explores isolation, time, space and the gradual transformation of identity.
Photography in this work is not only a document of withdrawal, but a trace of an inner shift — a process in which the familiar becomes unstable and perception begins to change.
